This week for our double lesson with the Can I Help You Course we decided to take up a new topic. Katriina and I decided that we will take the kids to town next Friday to take pictures of our home town. We asked the students which places they would like to show our Latvian and Swedish friends and we made a list of their suggestions on the blackboard. Then we asked the students to work in pairs and gave them one place each to study this week and photograph next week.
We will post our articles about Porvoo on September 21st. We will most probably be editing them still on September 28th. But next week we’ll be out on the town. It’s wonderful to see how excited the students are about the web magazine. They really have taken it as their own and are very eager to make new posts. Yesterday after having finished the required planning for the photo shoot next week, they wanted to make extra posts about their pets. Now they can’t wait to get comments on their posts!!! We are also looking forward to commenting on the Swedish and Latvian web magazines and finding out more about our friends in the partner schools!
