Since we will not get visitors this year, we decided to go out and photograph our town so that we could tell you about our town in our blog. Last week we tried to list all the important sights and assigned one for each group to photograph. This week we set off to do the shooting and now we have the media library of our blog full of photos.
Next Friday I will be away in St. Petersburg and Katriina will be making postcards with our students for our Latvian and Swedish friends. We will mail them on Monday Sep 24 and we’re hoping that they’ll arrive by Wednesday September 26 which is the European Day of Languages. We were thinking of printing out some of our photos from today and making cards out of them. The week after that we will be writing posts in our blog about the sights in Porvoo. We’re hoping that you’ll have time to comment on our posts then.
I think we have finally found a date for our trip to Saulkrasti. It seems like we will be traveling March 31 – April 6. Can’t wait!!!!
