Back home again

Dear friends!
We are already at home, everything went well, our plane arrived 30 minutes earlier, so we had to wait for the parents at the train stationn. It is spring here in Trelleborg, it is warm and sunny, it was “strange” after a week in “winter” in Saulkrasti.
It was quiet in the bus and in the plane, everybody was just sooooo tired after last night’s party😉
We would like to thank our friends in Saulkrasti for this week, and hope that it was not too much having us there, with our smaller or bigger problems. Your headmaster, all the involved teachers of the school and of course you, Gaida, did a phantastic job! 🌹🌹We will never forget this week together with you from Finland and Latvia, it was great meeting you! Thank you so much!🌹

  1. Dear friends, it’s been a really wonderful week for all of us. I met Elina and Liga walking today and they said: we are still talking and about our friends and can’t stop thinking about them…
I’m glad that all of you have had a safe trip home. Still waiting for your photos in the dropbox.

  2. Today Dita wrote to student blog about some ideas how they/we could share photos (a couple of other web tools that can be used if we don’t have enough space in Dropbox). We have a double lesson with our students every Friday until June. I think we can talk about the photos already next Friday.

And thank you! I have also been thinking about you and this week today. We really saw something special happen. :)

  3. I am really happy that the stars helped us and all our meeting went on rather smoothly and with no any “accidents”. I’m thankful for the parents who were very supportive and did their best for the kids.
So, let’s go on with our future plans…
What else do we need to accomplish this school year/

  4. Hello from Zvejniekciems! Now it’s our turn to say -back home again. It was the first day at school after our trip and I just finished my English lesson where my students- 7 project participants shared their experience of the visit to Sweden.
It’s been a nice and very useful week seeing other country, having a chance to see their life and school, be with their families, visit museums and have fun with real friends.
We’ll share our thoughts and pictures but right now the 9th graders have to catch up with their classmates but we will work it out as soon as possible.
