  1. Hello dear ladies.
Christmas is coming up soon. What about any new activities? Can we make smth like a poster for every school with our xmas greetings? post it on the blog or send by mail?
I’ll be out for 5 days going to Germany- Bavaria for 5 days, Dec. 6-10.
have a nice weekend and 1st Advent!

  2. hello from Latvia !
our meeting time is comming closer and I’m getting more exciting about it.
I’d like to share some ideas about it. As it’s going to be just Easter time then my suggestion is for April 1st to have and share some activities connected with Easter traditions in our countries. We could organize a workshop about coloring Easter eggs and then some traditional games and songs. As I sing in a folk group and it’s still not a working day we could think about activities inside or outside depending on the weather.
Catrina, I had a very nice dicovery during the Christmas time when I found out that a Latvian lady from our town and a good friend of mine lives next to your school in Trelleborg. She said she walks to the bus stop through your school yard every day.
She’s been living in Sweden for about 20 years. I’ll find her phone number so you can call her and invite for the meeting with your kids and encourage them for the trip.
next week we will be able to work more on our blog as we are having a project week and we are working on our project.
Annika and Katriina, would be nice to hear your ideas too.
    have a nice weekend,
    Gaida

    • Hi Gaida!

Last weeks have somehow been exceptionally busy for me and Annika has been in France with some students this week so we haven’t had time to answer your last comment about the travel plans properly. I guess that as everything (including you all and Latvia) is new to us we will be excited about every plan you make. :) You know the town and possibilities best so I guess that you already may have some ideas what we could be doing together. We will of course help you when you need and comment your ideas. Maybe there should be a post in this blog about the week in Latvia so you could gather your plans there and ask for comments and ideas (so they would all be in one place and that way easy to find later)?

Some students and parents have now decided on the travelling. The names of the students whose parents have confirmed that they are willing (and allowed) to travel can be found in our “list of students – hosting”-document in GoogleDrive. There might still be some changes though – we will get back to this properly when we are back to work.

Have a nice weekend! (We started winter holiday today. Back to work after a week.)
