dear ladies, I published the program we managed to put together last week but I really

NORDPLUS Project week in Saulkrasti (suggestions by Zvejniekciems team)

(March 31 to April 6)

March 31st(Sunday)

Welcome at school,meeting families( ~t ime?)

April 1st(Easter Monday)

Meeting at School at 11.00 a.m.

Presenting Latvian Easter traditions and activities.

(we would like our guests to  share and present their traditions too)

Acquaintance ,warm-up activities at school to get to know each other better, roud up and presenting ABC books when the teams meet)

Walking tour to the beach(depends on the weather)

April 2nd(Tuesday)

Morning classes at school 8.30- 12.00 a.m.

Lunch at school 12.00

Sightseeing tour at school

Fun relay race in the gym ( team of 7 people; sport shoes are necessary)

Our students’ concert at school ( choir, dance…)

( a piece of film about the previous Song and Dance festival)

Visit to the local Art school and Music school

 

April 3rd ( Wednesday)

Morning classes 8.30 – 12.a.m.

Lunch at school 12.00 a.m.

Sightseeing (walking tour) in Saulkrasti ( White Dune, Sunset trail, Bike Museum) 

???

April 4th ( Thursday)

Morning classes 8.30- 12.00 (Lunch at 12)

Going to Riga by bus and a sightseeing tour in Old Riga.

April 5th ( Friday )

Morning classes 8.30 -12.00

( 11.00 team meeting with headmaster, analisys, future project plans)

Lunch at school 12.00

Visiting Munchausen’s museum, located at about 8 km fom our school.

„ Did you know that Munchausen is the most truthful man in the world? What is the reality? Come to visit us and you’ll make sure of it.” 

In the evening – meeting at school together with parents to sum up the visit and say good bye. 

don’t know where it dissappeared in the space. So, I’ll do it again and I’m waiting for your suggestions.

  1. We are already soooooo excited! My students just can’t wait any longer. When I showed them this program they were just screaming” wow, so cool”, or “häftig” as we say here in Sweden. Gaida, thank you so much for this program, it will be a great success!! We are sure about it!
